The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office says that the driver who led police on a wild chase early Thursday morning has turned herself in.
Deputies were called to 38th and Hickman road around 3:30 a.m. Thursday after they received a report of an abandoned vehicle.
When deputies asked the woman why she was stopped, she took off.
The woman drove at speeds up to 100 mph along Saltillo Road. Police were able to spike all four tires which slowed the chase.
Sergeant Tommy Trotter says the chase was terminated when she drove into Lincoln and it became apparent she had no intention of stopping.
Police later found the abandoned vehicle around South 13th and Arapahoe Streets.
Police say the woman turned herself in late Thursday.
She's facing arrest charges of felony fleeing and willful reckless driving in addition to various other traffic citations.
Police have not yet released her name.
