Lincoln Police arrest a suspect in a home invasion case and are looking for two more suspects.
It happened in the 2800 block of Tierra at about 1:30 Monday morning.
Police say a 20-year-old victim stepped out of his house when Mason Shepard and two other men approached him and forced him back inside.
According to police, the suspects demanded the victims rent money.
They say one held the victim in a choke hold, while the other two punched him in the head numerous times.
"Ultimately they removed cash from the victim's apartment and left in a white vehicle. Officers stopped the vehicle matching one described by the victim but the suspects were not in it. We did interview the parties inside that vehicle and are working on a few leads," Officer Katie Flood said.
Police say the victim recognized Shepard and was able to identify him as one of the attackers in a a photo line up.
Doctors treated the victim for a broken nose, skull fracture and bruises.
Police arrested Shepard Wednesday for robbery. They are still looking for the other two suspects.
