Authorities arrest a man suspected of robbing a Lincoln pharmacy.
According to Lincoln Police Captain Jim Davidsaver, 30-year-old Christoper Marazzo walked into the CVS store at 27th and Old Cheney Road Sunday afternoon. Davidsaver says Marazzo then forced his way into the pharmacy and took the phone from the clerk's hand and yanked it out of the wall.
Marazzo reportedly took a number of boxes of Fentanyl patches before leaving the store in a white SUV.
According to Davidsaver, about 20 minutes later, Lancaster County Sheriff's Deputy Terry Jones spotted the SUV near Hwy. 77 and Rokeby Rd. heading north, back toward Lincoln.
Jones and several LPD officers stopped the SUV near 14th and Warlick Blvd.
Police say a woman accompanying Marazzo, 35-year-old Lorisa Bowland, was arrested for accessory to a felony. Bowland also was cited for child neglect since her 7-month-old child was in the car.
Marazzo reportedly swallowed some of the Fentanyl just after the robbery. Davidsaver said he was taken to the hospital in custody to be treated for the overdose.
He was released from the hospital Monday afternoon and arrested for robbery.
