Police Respond to Stabbing In Lincoln Neighborhood On New Year's Day


Lincoln, Neb. - Lincoln police officers are investigating after reports of a stabbing at an apartment complex, 930 S. 16th Street.

Police responded to the area at about 8:30 a.m., Wednesday.

Police say a group of people got into an argument after a night of drinking. They say one person was stabbed, but he refused medical attention.

Police have not made any arrests at this time. They are still investigating.

Neighbors tell 10/11 police were called to the apartment complex at least two times overnight. One neighbor says he is surprised by the stabbing, but not surprised it happened at that apartment.
