Police say a suspect wielding a knife robbed an EZ GO in Lincoln early Saturday morning.
Lincoln PD Captain Jim Davidsaver says around 3 a.m. on Saturday, police received reports of a robbery at the EZ GO at 2555 O Street in Lincoln.
The cashier working at the time describes the suspect as being a white male, 6 feet tall and approximately 160 pounds. The victim says he was wearing a black jacket, jeans, a red stocking cap, and a red bandana at the time of the robbery.
The victim says the suspect came into the convenience store demanding cash and Newport cigarettes, and was wielding a knife. The suspect then left with a small amount of cash and several packs of cigarettes, and fled northbound on foot.
Captain Davidsaver says dog tracking led police to 25th and O streets, where they located a red bandana they believe the suspect was wearing at the time of the robbery.
LPD says police are still searching for the suspect at this time.
