The body of a missing 16-year-old boy from Fremont has been found.

Fremont Deputy Chief Jeff Elliott says Brandon Kamphaus was last seen getting ready for school at his house Friday morning.

Just after 3:00pm Sunday, a body was found about one half mile north of where his vehicle was found. The body has been identified as that of Brandon Kamphaus.

The spot where the body was found was in the jurisdiction of the Dodge Co. Sheriff’s Office and is being investigated by their department.

An autopsy will be scheduled for Monday.

At this time foul play is not suspected.

The investigation will continue and further details will be released as soon as possible.
