Police Search for Suspect in Kwik Shop Robbery

Lincoln Police are searching for the man they say robbed a convenience store at gunpoint Sunday morning.

It happened at the Kwik Shop off Fremont Street and Touzalin Avenue around 8:45 a.m.

Lincoln Police Chief Jim Peschong says the suspect went into the convenience store armed with a black handgun, or possibly a revolver. The suspect then ordered the cashier working at the time into a back room and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a Black man, 5'9", with bad complexion. He was wearing a blue jacket. If you have any information, LPD asks you to give them a call at (402) 441-6000.
