Police say a suspicious man grabbed a 9-year-old at a Lincoln school.

Just before 5 p.m. Thursday, Lincoln Police were called to Hill Elementary School near 27th & Old Cheney, for a suspicious man.

Police say a 9-year-old girl was jogging around the school building for part of an after-school program at 4pm.

Police said the suspect approached the girl while holding a beer. The suspect asked the girl if she wanted a beer too. That is when the suspect grabbed the girl's hand.

The girl was able to pull free and run inside the school and get help.

Police searched the area, but did not find the man.

The suspect is described as a black man with short hair, wearing a white t-shirt and gray sweat pants.

Anyone with information is asked to call Lincoln Crimestoppers at 402-475-3600.
