Left to Right: Christopher Elliott & Clyde Flemons
Lincoln Police arrested two men involved in a home invasion Friday morning. Police say a third suspect ran away.
Police arrested 22-year-old Clyde Flemons and 20-year-old Christopher Elliott for Robbery and Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony.
Police say the Flemons, Elliott and a third armed man threatened a 32-year-old man and his family in their home at 22nd and Holdrege Streets just after 5 a.m.
According to police, the victim ended up with bruises, possibly from getting hit by a weapon. Five children ages 2-15 were home at the time.
According to police, Flemons grabbed the victim’s two year old son, held a gun to his head and threatened to kill him. The mother of the child, the victim’s wife, was able to grab the boy and pass him to the older children. She then helped the children exit out a first floor window. From there, they ran to the safety of a nearby relative’s home. Nothing was taken from the residence.
The victim's wife called police and when officers arrived the suspects were still there. After a short foot pursuit two men were caught.
