Lincoln Police Looking for Driver Responsible for Deadly Hit & Run

Lincoln Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian hit and run accident.

Lincoln Fire and Rescue were called to a car vs. pedestrian accident around 11:30 p.m. Thursday at Antelope Valley Parkway and Saunders Ave.

Lincoln Police Captain Jason Stille says the 50-year-old victim was taken to Bryan LGH West where he was later pronounced dead.

Stille said there are witnesses and police believe the vehicle which left is a van that was last seen going north over Cornhusker Hwy on Antelope Valley Parkway.

Pieces of the van were left at the scene.
