Police Captain Michon Morrow says if you own a scooter or a bike and you live in South Lincoln, you might want to make sure you still have it.
Police say they found two bikes and two scooters after chasing off the people riding them.
Morrow says it happened around 1:45 Tuesday morning in the 6800 block of South 51st Street.
Police set up a search perimeter. A K-9 Unit did not pick up a scent.
Police were in the area because someone reported two men looking into cars.
The suspects are white males wearing black hooded sweatshirts.
Police aren't sure where the bikes and scooters came from.
