A single car crash closed part of north bound 84th Street for about a half hour Monday night.
Lincoln Police Sergeant Mark James said the northbound lanes of 84th Street between Windmill Drive and Adams Street was closed while they investigated a one car accident.
According to James, the initial investigation indicates the Mercury Milan was traveling south on 84th when it crossed the raised center divider and both northbound lanes before hitting a metal power pole.
LFR says three people were taken to the Bryan West campus with serious injuries.
Police don't know what caused the car to cross the median, but they don't believe alcohol is a factor.
Midwest Medical was the first to arrive on scene after driving by and called 911, just after 8:00 p.m.
