A Lincoln woman said she was scammed while trying to adopt two English bulldog puppies from Oregon.

The 48-year-old woman said she was told to wire $436 to Ponca City, Oklahoma and the bulldogs would be sent to her through Skyway Animal Airlines.

She said she became suspicious when the seller sent her text messages asking for more money, but neglected to give her any flight details.

The victim filed a report with the Lancaster County Sheriff's office on Thursday.
