Purse Snatcher Strikes at Lincoln Mall

A warning for residents shopping in the capital city: be on the lookout for anyone suspicious.

Friday afternoon a purse snatcher targeted a 63-year-old woman at SouthPointe Pavilions.

The thief, described as a large white man in his 30s, grabbed the purse.

The victim struggled and broke her finger trying to hold onto her bag.

When she let go, the thief ran off but she and another man chased him. The thief then threw the bag to the ground.

Police have no suspects in this case.
