Lincoln Police are searching for the person who robbed Liberty First Credit Union just north of 27th and Superior Streets. Click on the photo to the right to view a slideshow of surveillance photos.
The hold up alarm sounded around 11:30 a.m. July 9. The man reportedly handed the teller a note demanding money but never displayed a weapon. Five people were inside the bank when the robbery happened.
Police said the robber ran off toward a neighborhood northwest of the bank. Lincoln Police, the Nebraska State Patrol and K-9 units searched the area for two hours with no luck.
The suspect is described as a black man, 20-25-years-old, 6' tall with a medium build. He was seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black baggy pants and a black bandana on his head. If you have any information, call Crimestoppers at 402-475-3600.
