With Lincoln's new outdoor ice rink, some people are comparing Lincoln to New York City.
"It's like a little Rockefeller Center right here in Lincoln," said Staci, who used to live in New York.
She never thought she would ever compare the two, but when the Railyard Ice Rink opens Saturday, Staci said the two won't be much different.
"Downtown New York, where they have food during the summer and a cute little cafe, and in the winter they have ice skating for us," Staci said.
Now, so does Lincoln. Breezy Island Ice is one of those little businesses, and while cold temperatures don't often involve buying cold drinks, owner Brandon Hart said he isn't too worried.
"Having a shaved ice and daiquiri stand in Nebraska in the winter is a little scary, but putting something like this in here is just going to drive traffic. It's a best case scenario for me," Hart said.
Staci and Emma say they come to the west Haymarket often, and when the rink opens they'll be back even more.
"My mom likes skating so, even though we're not really good at it, it's gonna be really fun," Emma said.
They've also got a recommendation if the rink needs a nickname, "Rockefeller Junior."
