Pelini Issues Statement on Health

Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini missed the second half of Saturday's game against Arkansas State after he was whisked away by ambulance during halftime.

A member of the Nebraska medical staff was seen checking Pelini's pulse in the first half, but he continued on the sideline until halftime. Pelini didn't come out with the team for the third quarter.

Pelini issued the following statement on Saturday afternoon:

“Everything is fine. They ran some precautionary tests and everything checked out just fine. I plan to be back at work tomorrow. I’m proud of our team and coaching staff for the way they responded this afternoon.”
