Robbery Suspect Grabs Cash

A Lincoln Kwik Shop was robbed at gunpoint overnight.
Right at 2:00 a.m. Sunday, Lincoln Police officers were called to the Kwik Shop at 40th and A Streets for an armed robbery.
A witness called to report being kicked out of the store and then seeing a suspect rob the clerk at gunpoint.
LPD said the suspect had a black handgun and demanded cash. After the clerk handed over money from the till, the suspect fled south on foot.
The suspect, a white man in his 20's, about 5'10" and a slight build, was wearing a black coat and gloves. He had a black backpack with him as well.
Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to call Lincoln Crimestoppers at 402-475-3600.
