LPD: Robbery Suspects Only Take Beer

Lincoln Police are investigating an early morning robbery. Police say the thieves just took two beers.
According to Captain Michon Morrow, the call came in just before 1 a.m. Wednesday.
Officers arrived at U-Stop near 27th and E Streets after the two suspects had fled. Police say one man displayed a gun but did not point it at or threaten the clerk. The second suspect took two 40 ounce Colt 45 malt liquor cans.
Morrow said the men laughed as they left the store on foot. They were last seen heading east from the store.
The suspects are described as males of an unknown race. The first is 5'7" to 5'9" tall wearing a black shirt with red and white stripes. The second suspect was wearing all black.
Both suspects had their faces covered.
