Robbery at NBC Bank in Lincoln, Police Searching for Suspect
Lincoln Police said The Nebraska Bank of Commerce (NBC Bank) at 14th & Q Streets was robbed around 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
According to police a man handed the teller a note but did not display a weapon.
Since the robbery occurred so close to UNL Campus, the University posted an alert on it's website.
"The person gave a note, no weapon was seen. He was given an undisclosed amount of money and left. We are looking for a white male in his upper 20's, heavy build, five foot six to five foot seven. He had bandages on his face and was wearing a dark colored ball cap," said Lincoln Police Captain David Beggs.
Police say the suspect was also wearing a brown shirt and cargo pants. A surveillance photo shows the man has bandages on his face.
