A Lincoln man who survived a traumatic brain injury after being involved in a car wreck last October, picked up his trombone and re-joined his old band-mates during the Husker half-time show on Saturday.
After a near- fatal collision back in October, Dawn Krogh worried that her husband might never be the same again. She's called her husband's recovery nothing short of "miraculous."
Rod Krogh spent months at Madonna Rehabilitation center, getting treatment for serious injuries resulting from the wreck. On Christmas Eve, Krogh's doctors decided he was well enough go home with his family.
This spring, he was able to return his job with Senator Bob Krist. On Saturday, Krogh joined his friends and former band-mates for the annual alumni game at Memorial Stadium.
