LINCOLN, Neb. -- Just after 7 p.m. on Sunday, Lincoln Police and Fire crews responded to a call on 48th and 'R' streets for a rollover crash.
A driver told emergency crews that she ran a red light and hit a car with three people inside, which caused the car to turn on its side.
An ambulance took the three people to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
10/11 News spoke to Jamie Unger, who was near by and heard the crash.
"We heard the initial crash and we heard the car rolling over," said Unger. "It must have been a long roll or done multiple revolutions, it was a really loud and long collision."
LFR Captain Rick Schneider said all three were wearing their seatbelts.
The crash shut down the south bound lanes of 48th Street for about an hour, while police investigated and cleaned up the crash.
