Four people were hospitalized - some with serious injuries - after a crash near Wood River Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Hall County Sheriff's Office, a Mack truck driven by Jim Marsh, of Shelton and a flatbed crew cab truck driven by Chad Ott, of Aurora collided at Cedarview and Cameron Roads shortly before 2:30 p.m.

Ryan Hansen, of Stockham, and Todd Held, of Aurora were riding in the vehicle driven by Ott.

Authorities say the intersection has no stop signs and is surrounded by tall corn.

The investigation into the incident continues.
