A bus carrying a high school football team collided with a van Friday evening.
The Lincoln Southeast Knights were on their way back from a football game at Seacrest Field. The team's victory celebration was cut short when they crashed at 56th & A streets around 7:30 p.m.
The driver of the van was reportedly taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Officials said no students on the bus were injured. Another bus came to pick the students up.
The van is totaled. From the damage on the vehicles, it appears the crash was head on.
The bus driver was ticketed for negligent driving.
