Update: Central City Football Coach Pleads No Contest and is Sentenced for DUI

CENTRAL CITY, Neb. -- The Central City Head Football coach changed his plea to no contest to DUI charges in Merrick County Court.

Troy Huebert was sentenced Wednesday to 6 months probation, a $500 fine, and a 60 day revocation of his license.

The Merrick County Sheriff's Office said Huebert was arrested on February 7 for suspicion for DUI.

Both the Central City Superintendent of Schools and the Central City High School principal had no comment when Huebert originally entered at plea of not guilty.

In May of 2013, Huebert replaced Darin Garfield as the head football coach after the school board approved his contract as Alternate Education and Strengthening Conditioning Instructor.
