Shoppers Plan Ahead for Snow Storm

Shoppers are expected to be out in full force on Friday and Saturday.
Hy-vee manager Rob Reif says the combination of a big snowfall and Superbowl Sunday create a "perfect storm" for the grocery business.
Reif says the next couple of days should be some of his store's busiest in 2012.

Pat Bryant got an early start on her shopping Thursday afternoon. Bryant said, "I'm buying groceries so I don't have to go out in the snow tomorrow or for the weekend."

Reif predicted that, "people will be circling the parking lot waiting for people to leave so they can have a place to park. It's just going to be crazy." He added, "we try to plan in advance to soften the blow, to make sure we're ready for it. have extra employees, extra product in stock."
