Sunday, Feb. 5. : 1 PM - 4 PM
Address: 1225 South 9th Street Lincoln, NE 68502
The smash hit musical on the one and only Lied Center Stage. It's about three men, one daughter and a wedding.
Who is the real father of the lucky bride?
Check out the possibilities - the three day show kicks off Thursday.
It may not be based on a Greek Island like Mama Mia's, but food at Quinn Chapel A.M.E's church will taste like your mama made it. Chicken, mac-and-cheese, black-eyed peas. My mouth is watering right now. The 5th Annual Soul Food Feast - sure to feed your soul. That's at Quinn Chapel Saturday, Feb. 4 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 5 from 1 - 4 p.m.
The walls at the Nebraskan Wesleyan University's, Elder Art Gallery are beautiful. Master pieces from high school students who are mastering their craft. And it's not just for show. Two scholarships worth $10,000 each were given to two of the young artists to attend the college. The exhibition ends, Sunday, Feb. 5.
And speaking of art, when will Winter end?
Don't wait for a Groundhog to tell you. Ask local artist Chris Kretz. He's the man who helped pencil the pictures for the new book, "Groundhog Day."
The book written and published by new author Andrea Hartman targets kids but gives adults the real meaning of Groundhog Day, with it's delightful sing song tone of a grumpy Groundhog who almost jeopardizes Spring.
Will Winter end, or will it be saved?
Pick up, "Groundhog Day," at Indigo Bridge Books in Lincoln.
