Summertime usually means there will be big blockbusters at the movie theaters. But sometimes you wonder if your children should see some of these movies.

One example might be "The Avengers." It's about superheroes, but it's PG-13. Should you take your child if they really want to see the movie, and they are much younger than 13?

Wheeler Winston Dixon, professor of film studies at the University of Nebraska Lincoln says it's a good idea for the parent to see the movie first. Then you be the judge.
