One Kearney elementary teacher got a big surprise on Tuesday when $1,000 worth of classroom supplies were delivered to her door.
This is the seventh year OfficeMax has done their program that wants to help stop teachers from having to fund their classrooms themselves.
Second grade teacher Michelle Fouts says she was just about to go and buy more notebooks for her class, so the delivery is a welcome sight.
"Totally caught off guard, I had no idea, I'm just super surprised and wowed and overcome with appreciation and joy that people would do this for just a teacher," says Fouts.
OfficeMax says the average American teacher spends $1,000 out-of-pocket on school supplies.
