LINCOLN, Neb. -- Lincoln police say one person is in custody related to a robbery at Subway Saturday morning. The robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Around 8 a.m. Saturday, a man walked in to the Subway in the Piedmont Shopping Center, with a black hand gun, demanding cash, according to police.

The suspect then put a female employee in a cooler, where she stayed for a few minutes. The man made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers found foot prints in the snow and said he left north bound, where tracks seem to end. Police believe he may have jumped into a car.

A couple of witnesses said they saw a Maroon four-door Cadillac leave the scene, according to LPD.

At 9:30 a.m., police spotted the car at a Kwik Shop on 33rd Street and Holdrege. Inside the car, officers found 36-year-old Marco Jackson and took him into custody without incident.

Jackson was lodged in the Lancaster County Jail for accessory to a felony.

Police are still investigating whether Jackson may have been the robber.
