Lincoln, Neb.-- Police arrested a teen for breaking into a HobbyTown in north Lincoln.
Officers responded to an alarm at the HobbyTown at 4451 N. 26th at 1:20 a.m. Thursday morning.
When they got there they found the front glass door broken out with a rock. Officers also spotted a 17 year old hiding in a nearby creek with a remote control car in a box.
The teen fled, but officers tracked him with a canine and took him into custody on an outstanding warrant and cited him for burglary.
Police say the teen stole a remote control car and an extra remote control worth $269. The damage to the door is almost as much, estimated at $250.
