North Platte Senior, Maxx Weigel, has been friends with Chandler since Elementary school.
"He was inspirational, he always had a great attitude for himself, and he was happy he made people happy," said Weigel.
On Saturday, police say 17-year-old Chandler Snyder was found in a trailer located on the corner of Phillips and Griffith. Neighbors say Chandler’s friend found him in the trailer and called 911.
The autopsy results show there were no signs of trauma to the body. At this time, officials say the cause of death is still unknown pending the toxicology test results.
It maybe weeks before the results are finalized and known.
"Anytime you have an unattended death and one of a 17-year-old it's suspicious in nature, and that’s the reason for the autopsy," said Police Officer Rodney Brown.
Chandler's friends just want know how this happened.
"I have heard so many things like, it’s just difficult. I want to know the truth, but how are we suppose to know the truth?" said Weigel.
The schools crises management team has sent letters home to parents on how to deal with this loss. The team will also be available at both the middle school and high school if students need someone to talk to.
"It just really shows you how easily things can change," said Weigel.
