Police have arrested two teens for breaking into Dirt Cheap November 24 and stealing potpourri and cash.
Police say the father of a 16 year old called officers Monday night after finding dozens of potpourri packets in his son's room. The potpourri was a mix of Platinum, Bizarro and Twilight and matched what was stolen during a burglary at Dirt Cheap last month. On November 24 more than 300 packets were stolen worth $3,000.
During the investigation police also identified a 14 year old as a suspect and found more potpourri in his room.
Both teens were arrested for burglary and taken to the juvenile detention center.
Officials have had problems with people smoking potpourri like what was stolen to get high as a replacement for marijuana.
