Teens Busted Trying to Burglarize Lincoln Jewelry Store

Police say two teens are in custody after they tried to burglarize a Lincoln jewelry store.

It happened just before 3 a.m. Thursday. Police arrived on scene at Jim Powell Diamonds at 2740 North 48th Street to find the teens trying to pry open the back door with crowbars.

The first teen was taken into custody almost immediately.

Police say the second teen was taken into custody after a short foot chase.
