LINCOLN, Neb.-- Three teens had their cell phones taken after being beaten in a robbery early Sunday morning.
Lincoln Police said the 15-year-olds, one of whom was from Lincoln, were going to a party when they came across two cars. Police said the teens described one of the cars as a white or silver Toyota van, the other a silver Pontiac.
Police said the teens asked the men in the cars for directions to a party and to buy marijuana. They said the teens got into the van and drove around with the men until they were dropped off near the intersection of Portia St. and Knox St. When the teens got out of the car, Police said the men punch and kicked them, throwing them to the ground. The teens suffered minor injuries.
The men took three cell phones, a pair of shorts and a set of keys. The suspects are described as nine black men in their mid-to-late 20's.
