Police say the 56-year-old man discovered someone had gotten inside through an unlocked door.

Ten long guns were taken as well as a gold chain.

"Gun thefts we always pay close attention to just because of the possibility of them falling into the wrong hands, people getting injured or other crimes being committed with these guns. It's important to us to act quickly on these cases and try to get them back into the right custody as quickly as possible," LPD Officer Katie Flood said.

Total loss was $5,200.

Police say it happened sometime between November 1st and November 4th.
