A 40-year-old Texas man spent the night in jail after police say he held a 28-year-old Nebraska man at gunpoint while accusing him of sleeping with his wife. Charles McCullough reportedly approached the victim in the 2000 block of South 17th Street in Lincoln.
"Charles was holding a handgun and accusing the victim of sleeping with his wife. McCullough further added that the victim could just take his wife. Eventually McCullough disappeared between the houses and was not seen again," said Officer Katie Flood of the Lincoln Police Department.
McCullough later turned himself into police. He was arrested for Terroristic Threats and Use of a Weapon To Commit a Felony. The victim said he had no idea who McCullough or his wife are.
