40 seconds was all the time it took for two burglars to make off with around$10,000 worth of e-cigarette merchandise.
The break-in happened at Lincoln Vapor at 3 a.m. Friday. The owner, Matt Brei said he was notified by a neighboring business. There is no alarm system installed, but that wouldn't have made much of a difference anyway.
Brei said, "They were in and out within less than a minute so the cops wouldn't have got here on time anyway. but it's a good lead and we have surveillance."
He said lucky the suspects only broke into the two front cases, because they house the cheapest merchandise.
Items stolen include electronic cigarette tanks, batteries, and starter kits.
