The Huskers flag will once again fly in Florida on Jan. 1 as the Big Red face off against the Bulldogs of Georgia in Jacksonville.
"We think and are hopeful that Husker fans want to go bowling," said Stephen Glenn CEO of Executive Travel.
Businesses like Executive Travel in Lincoln who sell ticket packages for the game, think this weekend and cold weather may sway some fans to make the trip.
"We're hoping that the sunshine of Florida might be attractive for Husker fans in about three weeks," said Glenn.
The Huskers fell to Georgia 45-31 in the Capitol One Bowl last year in Orlando and ticket sellers are hoping that revenge is another reason why Husker fans will make a 3rd straight trip to Florida for a January Bowl Game.
"I think people are anxious to see us go against Georgia for a 2nd time," said Tony Gevo with the Tampa for Huskers Group.
"We're going to play a good SEC Team and hopefully it'll be a good match up because we're both on the mends a little bit," said Glenn.
For the Nebraska Alumni who already live in the Sunshine State the trip to Jacksonville will be a short trek to show how well Husker Nation travels during bowl games.
"It's just great to be a part of a stadium where there's a huge number of Nebraska fans and everybody's pumped up, show everyone that the sun never shuts on the Cornhusker Empire," said Gevo.
