A man is in custody after Lincoln police arrested him for two felonies, robbery and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
Police said a witness called police 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon after seeing a car driving at a high rate of speed and dragging someone's body behind them.
The victim, identified as 31-year-old Joseph Gihon, told police he went to 11th and Garber to pick up a friend.
That friend, 31-year-old Dawon Hughes, revealed he had a gun during the car ride. Shortly after a fight broke out between the two. Hughes managed to get away with Gihon's car and dragged him as he drove away.
Police later stopped Hughes on a traffic stop and found at least seven pounds of marijuana inside the car.
Hughes was taken into custody at around 7th and Superior in Lincoln.
