Traffic Stop Turns Up Nearly $1 Million Cash

A traffic stop turns up nearly one million dollars and lands a California man in jail.

A Lancaster County Sheriff's Deputy stopped 29-year-old Ryan Perich of Woodbridge, California on I-80 Friday afternoon.

According to Sheriff Terry Wagner, Perich gave the deputy permission to search his car. Wagner says the deputy found two duffel bags, vacuum seals with $934,000 cash.

Perich was arrested for possessing currency to further criminal activity. He was turned over to federal authorities.
