Traffic Running Smoothly Again
Breaking News on First at Four: Traffic Backed Up After Construction Crew Hits Gas Line
Lincoln Fire and Rescue said South 14th, just south of Highway 2 in Lincoln was shut down Wednesday afternoon after road construction crews accidentally hit a gas line near Dead Man's Run.
No one was hurt and there was no explosion.
Authorities say no businesses were evacuated, but traffic was a mess for a while.
Things were back to normal by Wednesday night as repairs have been made to the gas line.
