Transport Plus is closing its doors for good May 18.
The Lincoln company, which helps people who need specialized personal assistance, including the visually impaired, get from one place to another, is going out of business.
The company says it's because they lost a bid on a contract with the city.
For now, plans are to close shop.
Owner Vicki Harding says she's very disappointed, but also very concerned about her hundreds of clients and how they'll now get around.
The company employs 16 full time staffers, including van drivers.
The city of Lincoln says a competitor came in with a lower bid, around $120,000 lower to be exact.
