A two-car crash in Kearney set five people to the hospital Thursday night.
The crash happened at Eighth Street and Central Avenue just before 8:30 p.m. The Kearney Police Department said the driver of a Monte Carlo failed to yield right of way and collided with a SUV.
One person was trapped and had to be extricated with special equipment. All five people in the Monte Carlo were hospitalized and the driver of that car was cited. The driver of the SUV was not injured.
