Two men are in jail after shooting at road signs.
Lancaster County Deputies were called to the area of Coddington and West Denton Road after a call to 911 reported hearing three shots.
The witness went out and followed the vehicle as it left the area and entered Lincoln. Police were able to intercept the vehicle, stopping it near Old Cheney and Limestone Road North.
Police recovered a handgun and a rifle from the vehicle.
The two men taken into custody were 24-year-old Nolan Hanson and 25-year-old Jase Kess, both from Lincoln. The men were arrested for carrying a concealed weapon. Hanson, the driver, was cited for DUI. Other charges are still pending.
Lancaster County Deputies found only one stop sign in the area with a single bullet hole and they cited both men for criminal mischief.
