Two women were taken to the hospital after a rollover accident early Tuesday morning.

Around 2:50am, deputies with the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office were called to the accident.

It happened between 9th-12th St and West Pioneers Road in Lincoln.

Authorities say the car left the road, rolled once, hit a tree and landed on its roof.

Deputies arrived on the scene to find a red four-door 1999 Mazda in the ditch.

Two 29-year-old women were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Alcohol is believed to have played a role in the crash.
