Two Arrested in Meth Bust Near Waverly

Two people are behind bars after a major meth bust near Waverly.

The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office Criminal Division and the Metro Area Clandestine Lab Team served a search warrant at 15620 and Highway 6.

Investigators say they found a meth lab at the residence as well as 45 various handguns, revolvers, rifles and shotguns.

Forty-eight-year-old Leslie Elliott and 49-year-old Grady Gartman were lodged in jail on a slew of charges including intent to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance.

Gartman is also facing charges for possession of firearms by a prohibited person.

LSO officials say the investigation is on-going and more charges are expected in the case.
