UNL Looking to Developers for Parking Garage Expansion

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is looking to enhance a new parking structure which will be located on the southeast corner of 18th and R streets.
The project is already scheduled for completion in August of 2014, but the UNL is hoping a developer will step in with a plan and financing to expand on the parking garage.
"We envision a development with UNL parking on the bottom and private rental residences on top," said Christine Jackson, vice chancellor for Business and Finance.
The University is taking submissions from private developers through July 31st.
The University's Board of Regents will make the final call on the expansion of the parking garage.
