Vandals Cover Downtown with Graffiti

Police are looking for vandals who scrawled graffiti all over downtown.

The letters FCC were painted in blue or black spray paint at 25 location between 13th street to Centennial Mall and O street to N street. It happened between September 29th and October 5th.

All the graffiti was spray painted on business properties, dumpsters, exterior walls and doors.

Police don't know what the letters mean or who did the tagging.

They say it's a misdemeanor offense, costing business owners more than three thousand dollars to clean up.

"It's more of a crime of inconvenience to those businesses and other victims that were targeted. The damage itself more of the cost of clean up. Some of this paint needs to be power washed off and it's also the disrespect," Officer Katie Flood said.

Police don't believe the graffiti is gang related.
