Update: More Windows Shot Out in Vandalism Spree

Lincoln Police are investigating a number of vandalism cases that happened between November 27th and December 1st.

Police say at lease 19 cars and buildings had their windows shot out by a BB gun.

It happened between Holdrege and Vine, from 27th to 56th street.

"I do not understand what makes people enjoying do that and obviously they do or they wouldn't do it," said Maurice Baker.

Baker has lived in the area for 45 years. He's seen the neighborhood change over the years. He says he feels for the victims, but this latest crime spree is not enough to make him move.

"I consider the neighborhood safe. I don't think the vandalism makes is necessarily unsafe," Baker said. "We've had these kinds of things happening all over Lincoln, it's not unique to our neighborhood."

Police are looking for leads.

"At this point there are no known witnesses to the vandalism cases. However, we did have a suspicious incident Sunday afternoon, in which the passenger of a green four door explorer was seen firing a pellet gun outside the vehicle," Officer Katie Flood said.

Police say two white men in their early to mid 20s were driving the 2000s green Ford Explorer.
